Gravel Removal and Landscaping
To the left of the driveway we had a large amount of gravel that made up the area. We decided it looked ugly and wanted to change it. So after about 80 wheel barrow loads of gravel being hauled out back we had the area pretty empty... We repaired the drainage pipe, hauled in top soil, bought about 50 plants, and then added the final touches. Ryan put down sod and layed in the bark. I was able to get a flag pole from the truck stop up the street that had been torn down. I painted it and with the help of Larry and Dave (our neighbors) got it in the ground in three feet of concrete! Of course the flag pole is lit up and the magnolia tree (which has been there for a long time now) has a light under it from when we first moved in! It was a great deal of work and took four weekends but it was totally worth it!
